This is my first Airbnb and they have set a high standard for any others I visit. On the day of my arrival I received a message to inform me all was ready for me. Direction and access information access had been received prior to this. On arriving we happened to meet Dan. The lodge has a parking space by the front door. Inside was clean, spacious and dressed for our arrival. A personal handwritten welcoming card with a information pack included instructions and local information. A tray of tea, coffee and some lovely wine. Each room had fresh bedding and a towel set parcel... as well as some hidden treats for the kids. Also the doggie guest have there own towels, blankets and treats. The kitchen is stocked with the essential items for you to cook whilst here. Or there are takeaway menus and information on local places to eat out. We have enjoyed meal at the Hotel just a short walk down the road. There is Internet access, sky TV but to be honest we enjoyed using the hot tub and watching the cheeky squirrel from the window, whilst s/he proceeded to empty the bird feeder daily. There is a cupboard filled of board games to amuse children and adults. I do recommend taking a walk around the lake which you can reach other the meadow. This place has ticked so many boxes for us as a family and I'll be booking to come again.

I stayed in Woodlands View. This lodge will accommodate 4 people, 2 single beds, and very comfy double in the main bedroom. Very clean and modern throughout. A lovely welcome card and a few essentials from the owner. Nice view of the lake from the lodge. Food and drink is only a short walk away, either at the cafe by the lake or Rudyard Hotel. Leek is about 10 min drive, or 40 min walk. I would highly recommend staying here. What a gem!

Wonderful lodge, everything you need and more for an enjoyable stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, the hot tub an extra luxury that we all enjoyed (especially the kids). Lots to do in the area, lake was lovely. Had a fabulous weeks family holiday here and hope to come back in the future.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Super dog friendly, and who doesn’t love a well maintained hot tub! Situated at Rudyard Lakes, the lodge offers privacy, and enclosed garden, and all you could need in this stylishly decorated home from home. Lots to see and do nearby, including visiting the Rudyard Hotel which is dog friendly in the bar area. Food was really good too. Lots of supermarkets nearby in the town of Leek, and if you fancy a night off cooking, local take away deliver too. Highly recommend!
